Title: Beach Boys airplane 1967
Post by: ReggieDunbar on December 18, 2017, 11:57:56 AM
I didn't know that boys had their own plane in 1967. Was this only for the European tour in May?

I dunno anything about that particular instance, but I think sometimes airlines would put extra bits on planes to celebrate an event and/or famous passengers. For instance:

More than likely in this instance this was a bit of ad-hoc publicity, simply adding the TLES onto the official BEA (British European Airways) logo

Not bad Beach Boys and Beatles not bad at all.

But only one band has their own 747 that happens to be piloted by their lead singer.

The very same.  Bruce Dickinson - singer, master frontman, author, fencer, songwriter, pilot, cancer survivor.
