That concert reawakened my interest in Brian and the Boys after a couple of decades, combined with a birthday present of his "autobiography" (I still think it's a great read). My devotion was sealed shortly after when I heard "All I Wanna Do". Brian's appearance shocked me (I think the audience was initially shocked too by his manner) but the next day one paper noted, "The best of British was an American". Ha!
