Title: Moby Grape '69 Post by: Daniel S. on January 08, 2006, 06:39:51 PM Moby Grape's third album and the first one without Skip Spence. The songs are really great, much better than Wow. The last four songs on the album: Captain Nemo, What's To Choose, Going Nowhere and Seeing are the best of their career. And the sequencing works so well. yeah I know Seeing is a Skip Song using one of his demos.
It's out of print and I've only heard it from the 2cd Vintage album. Any other fans? Title: Re: Moby Grape '69 Post by: I. Spaceman on January 08, 2006, 08:50:51 PM Yeah, it's incredible. I have a repackage of that record from 1970 entitled Omaha with the title track replacing Ooh Mama Ooh.

I've still not gotten into the Grape, but I've always meant to, the first album gets such praise. Is that all on the 2CD? I assume that's the place to start?
