At my wedding ceremony last week some BB songs were played. (Actually only BB songs where played) I think the guys playing nailed them. Only two voices and still a full harmony sound! I regretted the fact that the CATP/ holland was the last "proper" twofer I bought, as I didn't know "Only with you" until after my wedding (in 2008).
However, we did sing "I do" together on that day, me the first verse/ chorus and then her the second verse and repeat of the chorus. Our bridal party sounded great with their background harmonising after some rehearsal but reverted to vaguely embarrassed murmurs on the actual occassion. Heh - When I got married in 1999, I'm the one who chose "Please Let Me Wonder" for our first dance. It's not conventional, but I liked the idea of starting with "And now here we are together, this would have been worth waiting forever". And our reception ended with a slow dance to the Lei'd in Hawaii version of "God Only Knows" from Endless Harmony. Most of our playlist during dinner consisted of BB songs. BTW - I walked down the aisle to "In My Life", and our recessional was "All You Need Is Love". We entered the reception to "Soul Bossa Nova", and the garter ceremony was done to Dick Dale's "Take It Off".
