Title: Interesting graphic on MikeLove.com—possible “Looking Back With Love” reissue? Post by: “Big Daddy” on June 14, 2016, 05:52:13 PM I was on Mike Love’s website earlier and saw this interesting graphic advertising the MikeLove.com shop:
(http://i.imgur.com/pq1NPzc.png) When you click on that banner, however, you don’t see any of the merchandise that was pictured on the previous page. It begs many questions: What is Looking Back With Love doing there? Is it going to be reissued and sold on MikeLove.com? Who is going to buy a Mike Love graphic T-shirt? Etc. Anyways, thought this was worth bringing up here for some reason. Mike Love’s website looks very nice; anyone know when it was updated? My interpretation of the picture is that it's a "Mike Love" store and that album one of very few music releases that have the name "Mike Love" on it, as well as his picture. It's basically a stock photo for "Mike Love Music."

The label on the LP seems to read "Soundsortium"--never heard of it, but maybe a small record label?

But does it mean these items aren't actually for sale at present/any more? (EDIT - uhh, never mind, I'm pointing out something already said in the original post).
Can't recall seeing the 'Love' in his logo written that way before, but maybe I'm misremembering. Either way, I like it! |
