Kanye West - The College Dropout 7. The Notorious B.I.G. - Ready to Die 8. Public Enemy - It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back 9. N.W.A - Straight Outta Compton 10. The first 2 are German hip uop albums. As for albums, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's The Heist is still my favourite (as the howls of derision rise). Oh, and there are some tracks on Techno Animal's 2001 album Brotherhood of the Bomb that feature alternative rappers like El-P. For me the best of the bunch is "Piranha", feat. Flobots - Fight with Tools Jurassic 5 - Quality Control Lupe Fiasco - The Cool Plan B - Who needs actions when you've got words Rhymefest - Blue Collar Scroobious Pip - Distraction Pieces Stanley Odd - Oddio (tough to choose which one of theirs to be fair) Eminem - Marshall Mathers LP Dizzee Rascal - Boy in da corner (grime technically, I suppose...) Some of those wouldn't have got in if I could have multiple albums from same artists - Late Registration, Platypus, Food & Liquor, Time for Plan B, Reject, Angles, Slim Shady LP...all would've probably got in....
