Title: what song is it? Post by: Tacos on May 02, 2016, 12:10:04 PM hello.
please indulge my laziness and show off your beach boys knowledge. In the Endless Summer documentary, there is a clip of the beach boys playing live in Europe in the late 60s. What song is that? I haven't seen it in a while, but if I recall correctly, it's an upbeat song, Carl is on lead vocals strumming an acoustic guitar or clean electric guitar. Such a good song. I've been waiting to come across it somewhere but still haven't. Is it a cover? Can you direct me to a full length beach boys recording of the song? Many thanks. Title: Re: what song is it? If its the clip I'm thinking of, it's Loop de Loop, and it's available on the Endless Harmony Soundtrack. I hope this helps. Title: Re: what song is it? Title: Re: what song is it? Post by: HeyJude on May 02, 2016, 12:31:11 PM Is there any actual live footage from the late 60s in Europe in "Endless Harmony?" There is some footage, but it's overlaid with other stuff. I think the longest montage of anything with Carl's lead from that time period in the documentary would be "I Can Hear Music."
But seriously, if you ever can't figure a song out, just type a line or phrase from the song into Google along with the band's name, and you'll almost always get a hit on what the song is. "Rock and Roll Woman" would fit the bill, but that's from "An American Band." Title: Re: what song is it?
