Couldn't think of a more fitting award for the trio.

Not sure what it is, but I find Bruce rather annoying. He's such a kiss up, it's tough to watch and listen to him at times. And here, it seems like he got very old.....which of course, he did.

In the second clip, there's a moment where Mike mimes air bass. It's a bit odd to see, giving the watcher a view into an alternate universe where Mike plays bass with the band.

Worth noting that myKe luHv says he wrote the words to Good Vibrations but seriously flubs them when trying to remember them after singing them for 50 years. Arteries clogging up?? :o

I think the chances that Mike would blow that gal off and not sing a line from Kokomo (had it been requested instead of Surfer Girl) are slim to none :)

Yeah, I find Bruce more annoying than Mike. And Mike has aged very well, although he always did look older than the rest of the guys.

Surely a bit of facial work on Mikes part though. No?

Love all the Beach Boys, but Mike & Bruce look so dorky wearing their matching Beach Boys hats to an event like that.

Wouldn't it be easier and more economical at this point for them to just get BB baseball cap tattoos on their heads?  ;D

It would be almost insulting to have Brian up there wasting his time singing Barbara Ann with Stamos!
Meanwhile, he's on a world tour celebrating the greatest album of all time, which he wrote, produced, and arranged.

We are now living in a world where someone like John Stamos is being honored as a TV icon(one of the most overused words of the 21st century, along with "amazing"). It used to be real stars like Andy Griffith, Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke etc.. All the real talent is passing away, but we have to have awards shows so ,this is what we get. Full House, what a "iconic" classic.

Sorry, that should be "an iconic classic". I was kind of worked up.

I have to whole heartedly agree with you.

It could be worse.  At least Stamos has some acting chops. 

Just wait until they start honoring Ashton Kutcher, Melissa McCarthy, and Kat Dennings. 

I'll agree that Stamos isn't exactly a TV icon in that Full House was a terrible show (though it was a phenomenon among kids--who knows why) and Stamos is not exactly a great actor or comedian. But I'm wary of the nostalgia that states that TV then>TV now and "the real talent is passing away." There are some very funny and talented people on television today. Julia Louis-Dreyfus comes to mind. Tracy Ellis Ross. Steve Carrell (was on TV). John Oliver. Samantha Bee. Bryan Cranston (was on TV, for both drama and comedy). Jeffrey Tambor. TV Land broadcasts old sitcoms, and they probably honor the people on the sitcoms they show.

Let's not forget that Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore are thankfully still with us. ;D

I wasn't saying that there aren't a lot of really talented people around, it's just that Stamos isn't one of them. But you're right, TVLand is probably "honoring" him because they air Full House. It's just all a little sad

Grandfathered has been cancelled however Stamos doesn't seem to upset.....
