Title: Good Vibrations fan mixes?
Post by: bossaroo on March 05, 2016, 01:15:48 PM
just wondering how many folks have made their own custom mixes of good ol' Good Vibs... I've got one version that clocks in at nearly 12 minutes, stringing together most of the session highlights we've been given.

but I'm wondering if anyone has experimented with the "gotta keep those lovin good..." section. I'm trying to mix those vocals with the  more recently-released "hum-be-da" chanting section, similar to how it's been done in concert. I'm also trying to mix the chorus vocals with the extended tag we were given on The SMiLE Sessions, which is how it's been performed live as well.

anyone else tried this?

I put together an extended stereo version that puts in some of the sessions stuff and hum-dee-dum overdubs for a 6 minute edit. I think it sounds good.
