Title: Judee Sill Post by: BiNNS on February 21, 2016, 03:40:13 PM Having just recently gotten into the music of Judee Sill, can anyone tell me if there is a cd version of Heart Food out there that does not have the somewhat annoying/distracting distortion that my ears are picking up? Is that something that happened during the transfer to cd or was that there on the original LP to begin with?

The liners for this include a note from the reissue producer acknowledging peak-level distortion that's "sometimes audible" on both the 1971 and 1973 albums, and that there's nothing they could do about it. He says it was on the original LPs.
