Title: The BBs and press conferences Post by: CenturyDeprived on February 20, 2016, 02:43:45 PM How many press conferences has the band held over the years? Off the top of my head, I can think of:
- the very sad press conference right after Denny's passing - by the way, what date/location was this done, and did it ever air in its entirety? I've only ever seen a couple of brief clips. - Carl's press conference/public apology in the hotel room in Australia (I think this qualifies more as a press conference as opposed to an interview?) - I've seen photos of some other BBs press conferences in the late 60s. Surely I must be missing some? Were there any way back in the mid 60s, like the Beatles occasionally did then? Title: Re: The BBs and press conferences Post by: Lonely Summer on February 20, 2016, 05:09:26 PM Man, the Beatles did dozens of them - and in spite of the stupid questions asked by the clueless reporters, they managed to be entertaining cause those darn mop tops were so witty in their responses. I don't know that the BB's sense of humour would go over so well in that setting. "If this album is a hit, it could revolutionize the shoe business".
