Title: Winds of Change (a new significance)
Post by: Magic Transistor Radio on December 30, 2015, 08:00:18 PM
I live in the east suburban area of Dallas Texas. You may have heard that we had tornadoes in our area. One of them hit the apartments I live in. I was in it when it hit. I came out unharmed. But the apartments are torn up. Anyway, this song came to mind and is appropriate.

Sorry to hear that MTR, I guess you'll have lost much… here in the UK it's a case of Pitter Patter - lots of flooding across NW England, parts of Scotland and Wales and elsewhere.

Here in Stainforth we've escaped it somehow but many people have lost homes and businesses may never open again. The amount of rainfall in places is incredible.

Still waiting to hear from one pal in Texas after those storms.he's still daft!

 Be safe all!

Did you lose much? Will you have to stay somewhere else for a while or move altogether?
I would've been terrified. I'm so glad you're OK.

The strange thing is, my stuff looks fine. The problem is, they won't let anyone in the building because they are deemed unsafe. Insurance should cover some of it. I have family in town I am staying with.

I'm glad your friends are ok. Hopefully you get confirmation from the one you hadn't reached! We had lots of flooding in this area as well earlier this year. I had friends whose home was destroyed.

Cheers MTR, my Texan hiking chum is fine. Hope your recovery is swift and that 2016 brings some good stuff instead of this.

Thank you Alan and John! Glad to hear your Texas chum is ok, John. I am blessed with family and friends in the area and have everything I need. I may lose a bunch of stuff, but my joy is not from material possessions. God, family and friends is where I find my joy. And in the wonderful music by the Beach Boys, etc that is on my laptop! :)

I like this version! Probably more than the released one. Is it just me or does the tag on the released version seen a little messed up? Too many forevers in there I think :)

I like the demo version.  Very nice.   Kinda raw and unpolished.  sometimes they overproduced things.   Best wishes to all who have met this recent weird weather head on.
