I think this shirt is using the logo that was used on early-mid 80s shirts, including the '83 shirt. But I don't know if one just like this was sold in 1983. I have a shirt from 1984 that is yellow, and it has this logo, but it's basically this logo and text (but for 1984) but much smaller and in the upper corner, essentially in the pocket area. It also has totally different stuff on the back as well. I know this sort of "worn/antiqued" retro shirt is popular, but a rough translation to US dollars shows it's in the $35-$40 range. With some searching, you could probably find a better actual vintage shirt from this era (albeit almost surely used) for a cheaper price. I'd love for stuff *like* this to be sold, but better designs (and perhaps not just weathered/worn style), and for at least a bit cheaper. One of my favorites was the drum head sunset that came out around that time just after the loss of Dennis. I still have it somewhere but it is one of those sleeveless jobs that were popular at the time.
