Title: Turning Point song question Post by: The_Beach on September 23, 2015, 08:08:43 PM Any info on Turning Point song? It sounds like it was ment for the Beach Boys 1985 album? I couldnt find any info on it besides it was with Gary Usher.

An interesting connection.

It dates from the sessions Brian did w/ Usher in '86. Actual title: "So Long" Sweet song. Very melodic. Didn't know that...to me, the lack of backing vocals was the one thing that made the Wilson-Usher sessions less than convincing. Well. that and cheesy '80s production, but the songs themselves ain't all that bad. Except for some of the lyrics. OK, I'll shut up now!
