Title: "Happy Birthday" song now in the public domain Post by: Rocky Raccoon on September 22, 2015, 08:23:19 PM I've always thought the copyright claim for this song was pretty ridiculous. A lot of movies and TV shows have avoided using it because they'd have to otherwise pay licensing fees. Now, the copyright claim has been ruled invalid by a judge in Los Angeles.
