Title: Calvin&Hobbes Pier Pressure
Post by: Micha on September 21, 2015, 12:57:26 PM
The other day when I was in Australia and met board member John Stivatkas (&family) there, this Calvin & Hobbes strip was republished in The Daily Telgraph:

Does anybody know when this was first published? RangeRover A1?

Reminds me of a topical tasteless joke that went around when Cleveland Indians pitchers Steve Olin and Tim Crews were killed in a boating accident prior to the 1993 baseball season.  The boat collided with a pier.

The joke went:

What killed Steve Olin and Tim Crews?

Pier Pressure

God, my eyes have become bad! I didn't even notice! So it was 1995-9-1? After the baseball joke, anyway.

Tasteless and the Daily Terrorgraph go hand in hand.

Agreed! I almost got a Calvin and Hobbes tattoo, but chickened out at the last minute.
