Title: Summer Children (w/Probyn Gregory-Teresa Cowles-Adam Marsland) Post by: adamghost on August 25, 2015, 02:38:53 PM I wanted to post the audio-only video from the title track from the new album "On The Go With Summer Children" by Summer Children. It's the first outside release on my new label, Karma Frog (connected to the studio of the same name). While most of the album is country-flavored, the main songwriter Dan Akira is a huge Brian Wilson fan and there are a few homages to him. This is a gorgeous track and it's worth a listen for fans of the Beach Boys' more lush, melancholy side.
You'll recognize some of the background personnel: Teresa Cowles of "Love and Mercy" fame is on bass and backing harmonies, and Probyn Gregory is on horns. I produced, did the vocal arrangement and sang on the backgrounds, and played various things.
