On my way home from work about an hour ago, I was talking to my wife on my cell when I found out that my Aunt Dee, who raised me from the time I was 6, is in the hospital and is not doing well. She's 88, had a stroke a couple of years ago, and has been declining. Sadly, this might be it, and I don't know how I'm going to handle it when the moment comes. One of the things that motivated me to finally get off my ass and put this thing out was knowing that she had supported me in my endeavors when everybody else in my family doubted me. Well, now I've finally done it, and she may not be around to see me enjoy the fruits of my labor. Numb right now. I gotta make this a success...I want her to see me finally accomplish my dream.
