A year ago I never thought Id' be on a Beach Boys message board. Have been a casual fan for many years, recall the old songs when I was in the single digits as background on the radio. Oddly enough, my daughter who is 7 got me paying attention to the music, she saw the God Only Knows BBC remake on Youtube and showed me. I started to explore the Beach Boys catalog more. Was a big Beatles fan in my teenage years and remember that Pet Sounds was a significant influence but never really have it a good listen till this year. That and Smile blew me away. So here I am.
