This track is just killer, and is very advanced-sounding for its time. Compositionally-speaking, there's a lot going on. If this had been a BB song from the same era, it would be heralded as a futuristic forerunner of Brian's more advanced productions. It deserves to be better known. Who plays on it? Wrecking Crew? A few comments: - The section at 0:45 to 0:54 contains some gorgeous and unexpected chord changes - Then at 0:55 to 1:00 we have the Be True to Your School/Some of Your Love vocal melody popping in (was this written after BTTYS?) - At 2:06, classic unexpected Brian key change as the song concludes. Too bad the sound quality is somewhat lacking (was this sourced from an acetate, and are the original tapes lost)? Both great songs imo.
