Title: Don Lewis
Post by: lostbeachboy on July 09, 2015, 08:28:51 PM
Any info on him or pics with the beach boys?

I freakin love his synthesizer solo at the end of the live version of Surfs Up in 74.

We need to kickstart a petition to get those late 60s early 70s concerts out and into our CD collection.

I would love to have all of the concerts recorded in 72 and 73 for "In Concert" to be released.

Billy Hinsche's "1974 On The Road With The Beach Boys - Director's Cut" DVD includes an interview with Don Lewis.

And if they don't release all of the concerts recorded of "In Concert", a collection one version of each song played on those tours would be nice, including "River Song", "Here She Comes", "You Need A Mess Of Help To Stand Alone", and any other rarities.
