Title: Title similarities Post by: Joel Goldenberg on July 06, 2015, 11:19:23 AM Inspired by the "year similarities" thread, I'm listing some Beach Boys songs that have similar titles to each other or the songs of their "chief rivals."
The most obvious is All I Wanna Do (Sunflower) and All I Want To Do (20/20). But there's also Good Time (Love You) and Good Timin' (L.A.). Getcha Back (BB 85) and Get Back (The Beatles) California Dreamin' (1982, Made in USA), California Feelin' (1974 demo, 1978 outtake) California Calling (BB 85). Transcendental Meditation (Friends), the TM Song (15 Big Ones) Surfin' Safari, Surfin' USA Sherry She Needs Me (1965, 1976 outtake), Sherry (Four Seasons)-part of the song sounds like a Four Seasons homage. Any others?
