Title: Help Me Rhonda new Stereo Mix
Post by: branaa09 on May 06, 2015, 03:52:20 PM
I decided to create an approximation of what a true Stereo Mix of the Single version of Help Me, Rhonda.

Technical Notes:

I used the original 3-Track Master Take 6, An isolated 1st Vocal Overdub, the Rough Vocal only mix which has the doubled vocals on their own, the Original Mono Backing Track taken from Stack O' Tracks and Derry Fitzgerald's Stereo Extraction Mix from the 2012 Remasters. I took apart the Basic Track to mix the sound better using a channel separator. In order to pull out the Mono mixdown elements I used various filters and I took apart the Extraction mix using the channel separator.

Really nice extractions you got there. It seemed a little jagged to my ears, is anyone else noticing?

Some rough transitions, timing lags and phasing.
