1 - scared shitless and...

2 - as wooden as the Sequoia National Forest.

Brian, on the other hand, is relaxed, animated and clearly having a ball. Crazy world we live in.

She is a professional actress and therefor my conclusion is... she's acting.

I think she's just concentrating...

I actually really like her vocal on this.

AGD. You really have had it in for each female singer during this whole project, from their looks to the way they appear in a (staged) video clip.

Just for a bit of balance.

For a professional singer of many years standing, he looks....

1- like a possum staring into headlights and...

2- is reading a lyric sheet.

Zoey, on the other hand, mirrors his wide eyed look throughout the clip and is clearly reading the same lyric sheet. The reality of the world I live in.

Now on a more technical matter. Has it been picked up that their are 2 versions of this song? The clip being discussed (2.14), which seems to be the album version, and this much slower version(2.42)....

If that was the version on the album, I'd speed it up myself! However, to me it sounds like this is a digitally slowed down version.

Iffn you're going to pick me up on a specific point, or points, it would help your cause considerably if you knew what you were talking about. All I've ever said about Deschanel is that I don't like her vocal. Never commented on her looks. As for Musgraves, all I've ever said is that I don't care much for the song: not said word one about either her looks or her voice.

As for the video clip, as stated before, Brian is animated, Deschanel is not.

For Brian, yes, he is 'animated'. If Zoey had been more so we would probably say she is hogging the limelight off him.

I love that Brian is simultaneously singing his vocal part as well as producing behind the booth! All in one take. ;)

Speeded up versions of the songs are posted to try to get around YouTube's automatic copyright violation detection system. If you go to Settings and change the speed to 1.5, the song sounds normal.
