Title: KOMA Radio Spot Post by: lostbeachboy on April 05, 2015, 07:25:22 AM Any info on this? Year.. Was Bruce present?
Also I listen to this 10 second clip over and over. The harmony is so pure. Title: Re: KOMA Radio Spot Post by: hapman on April 05, 2015, 08:04:00 AM 1966 I guess, and for me it sounds like a Brian solo piece, with all vocal tracks done by him. Just my two cents.

Yep, the vocal isolations would suggest that it's all Brian. Hey, I listened too, in Southern California, and remember that ID as well. In So. Cal. you had to wait until the sun went down, causing the atmospheric conditions to change, thus enabling the signal to bounce off the ionosphere. Even with 50,000 watts, most of the time KOMA wasn't easy to receive in So. Cal., but when it did come in it was cool to see what was being playing on Top 40 radio in the midwest. |
