Title: The 3 Jan&Dean albums... Post by: kookadams on April 04, 2015, 02:08:23 AM Being that several of their albums were covers would it be fair to sum up Jan&Dean with the three albums- Drag City, Ride the Wild Surf and Little Old Lady from Pasadena...most of their cuts co.written with either Brian, Roger Christian, Phil Sloan or Jill Gibson...

Of the GH albums, the one I like best is The Complete Liberty Singles. I feel very ambivalent about Carnival of Sound. Some of the songs are really great but then there's stuff like Tijuana that's so dated and cheesy I find it hard to swallow. Title: Re: The 3 Jan&Dean albums... Plus it has some great music on it. "A Hot Time In The Old Town Tonight" is probably my favorite on the album. |
