Title: What was the goal for the Psychedelic Sounds/Comedy skits recorded in late '66? Post by: Mujan, 8@$+@Rc| of a Blue Wizard on January 25, 2015, 09:02:09 AM I believe it was around December 1966, you recorded a series of humourous conversations with Van Dyke Parks, the Vosse Posse and Hal Blaine. These included sketches like the Vegetable Fight, George Fell Into His French Horn and Brian Falls into a Piano.
My question is, what were you going to use these skits for? Were they considered for SMiLE, as links between the tracks or perhaps as hidden tracks themselves in some cases? Or was it for a whole separate project? Thank you for your time, and if you'd rather not discuss the SMiLE Era at all, I completely understand. It's just something that's been bothering me lately. |
