Great laid back feeling that will sound even better in the spring/summer. Rab, great job on the singing, playing, and production, as always.

So how does your collaboration process work? Does Swedish Frog write the lyrics and Rab then comes up with a melody and records it? Title: Re: New Swedish Frog/Rab2591 Song - Sailboat Post by: rab2591 on January 20, 2015, 03:29:58 PM Swedish Frog records a melody he hears in his head, usually with lyrics. He writes all of the lyrics - sometimes I'll request a change, but solely for timing at the end of a verse or whatnot.
I'll then take his melody and see what chords fit under it. Send it back to him for approval. Once we get all the chords figured out the way we want them, I record all the instrumentals and vocals, Swedish Frog will recommend ideas (harmonies, production tidbits, etc). I'll then mix it and then we release it. Usually how it goes. Thanks for listening! |
