They apparently don't know about Stephen Love either....

There has to be some kind of back story to this.  Just giving a stapler doesn't make any sense, obviously.  :lol

Yeah... a good swingline is actually a pretty good present :)  Once at work our stapler f***ed up, I left, locked up, drove to the office supply store and bought a good swingline, then took it back to work.  I probably never would have done that if I hadn't seen that movie, lol.

I really doubt Mike was the one who bought Kevin a stapler for Christmas. Anybody who knows anything about Mike would know he'd get his favorite nephew a transcendental meditation VHS or laser disc every year for Christmas before he'd stop by the Office Depot to pick up what some would consider an "office supply" for a gift.


Unless dude's really just a dullard whose favorite movie is "Office Space" and doesn't see the irony of getting a red Swingline as a present.


The whole damn commercial is in bad taste. There's kids who have parents who can't even afford something as expensive as a stapler and would be more than happy to receive something as insignificant as a lump of coal to heat their furnace for just a few warm minutes.

I think one thing that everybody is forgetting is that Mike's dad is named Milton.

Take some time to deliberate over that one.

Tastes differ. Haven't seen "Godfather", any episode. Now "Titanic", "Forrest Gump", "Shawshank Redemption", "Psycho", "Spaceballs", "Requiem for a Dream", "Fight Club - those are awful lot boring.
