Title: Chuck Berry - bear family box set
Post by: bringahorseinhere? on December 20, 2014, 07:13:18 PM
For you Chuck Berry fans out there, take a look at the new Bear Family box set.

It's a complete recording collection of all of Chuck's tunes...

16 Cd's!!!!

I just received mine, in a limited edition 'guitar case' version........ no 41 of 88......

its an insanely wonderful set.....

great photos, and discography....... typical of Bear Family quality.

expensive, but worth it.

Bear Family always do a great job, that's true!
But I think we are also blessed with Alan Boyd and Mark Linnet's (and their teams) work for the Beach Boys.

Even the Mercury stuff. Wow.

His Mercury years were awesome! I love the "From St. Louie to Frisco" album (with the exception of the song 'My Ding-A-Ling'...never cared for that one).
