This holiday season, The Beach Boys are giving back in a big way and auctioning off two chances to meet them at Charitybuzz.com, all in support of a great cause. One lucky winner will get to experience a private concert with the band and invite up 1,000 of their closest friends and family! This unique opportunity is open for bidding at https://www.charitybuzz.com/catalog_items/705500 through January 5. Also up for grabs is the chance to meet the band at a 2015 concert of choice, plus the opportunity to take home a concert-worn Robert Graham shirt autographed by Mike Love! Fans can place their bids at https://www.charitybuzz.com/catalog_items/705501 until January 5. Mike Love and The Beach Boys are auctioning off these exclusive experiences to benefit Operation Underground Railroad and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Just what I wanted. I gotta ask though...this private concert, do I get to actually have real Beach Boys there, like Brian Wilson and Al Jardine? Title: Re: BEACH BOYS CONCERT AUCTION Post by: Lee Marshall on December 20, 2014, 01:13:07 PM That's a little cold. ??? It's a very nice gesture by Mike and Bruce and the gang. That said...YES I would prefer if it were a more all inclusive group...but that ship has sailed. Every now and then a little credit where credit is due would be the real thing to do...wouldn't it? :hat

Heck, you can include them in your 1000 friends, If you like; they don't appear to be excluded...
