Title: Let's go away for a while - vocals
Post by: matt-zeus on May 23, 2006, 07:57:11 AM
Famously, the vocal session for this had to be cancelled in order for the album to be mixed and released in time. Obviously its a very beautiful piece of music, does anyone have any idea what on earth the melodies or lyrics would have been, any demos lurking anywhere?
The reason this springs to mind is because of the mention of Summer means new love having vocals which I didn't know until today.

Or how about Passing By? There's like two or three lines in the liner notes, "While walking down the avenue, I thought I caught a glimpse of you, and then I saw you're just passing by," and that's basically every verse in my head when I'm listening.
