Title: Does this Scott Weiland tune sound like The Beach Boys to you? Post by: stack-o-tracks on October 28, 2014, 11:29:26 PM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzAf9Wn-lOw
or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ol0vG46tEn4 Cause recently he was all like, "There is also a wide range of musical styles in the album. ‘Beach Pop Rock’ is a mix of the Ramones’ and the Beach Boys’ sounds, very much so. I always thought the Ramones were a souped-up, high-revved version of the Beach Boys anyhow." http://www.sacbee.com/entertainment/music-news-reviews/article3295726.html Personally, I can hear the "beach" influence, but not really the "Beach Boys" in it. Definitely a summertime, driving to the beach vibe. Title: Re: Does this Scott Weiland tune sound like The Beach Boys to you? Now, the STP song 'And So I Know' sounds like something BW would've written in 1969.
