Or maybe that hadn't manifest itself yet, since he was actually busy playing the keyboard in those years. I guess., anyway.

I wonder what the earliest-known example of fans noticing Bruce overly adjusting his microphone to the point where it became a "thing" to BB nerds. I'm sure Bruce (and all BBs for that matter) have adjusted their mics over the years plenty, but was it the M&B-era before people online made a point of noticing its prevalence? Did that become a "tick" at some point along the way (maybe exacerbated by the later era shows where he is far less involved from a musical instrument standpoint)? Half-serious question, but I'll bet somebody on this board knows! Poor guy wouldn't have much chance to adjust his mike. Maybe that's why he overcompensates now!?

I similarly tried to start an ongoing joke about Bruce always wanting to start a clap on every other song but usually nobody joins in (great example: Live in Knebworth in 1980, I believe he at least tries to start a clap during Heroes and Villains and Lady Lynda, among other songs). Alas, nobody kept that joke going except myself. 😉 Title: Re: Some cool photos of the BBs live in Amsterdam Dec 1968 being sold by someone Post by: bgas on October 10, 2014, 10:34:43 AM Interesting the photographer managed to catch Bruce when he wasn't adjusting his microphone.
