http://www.mwe3.com/archive/pastfeature/featureBrianWilson1998.htm THE SPIRIT OF ROCK AND ROLL - an interview with BRIAN WILSON by Robert Silverstein I luv that Silverstein asks Brian about obscure stuff like Sweet Insanity & Solar System. Brian says that his favorite cuts off SI are Rainbow Eyes & Smart Girls. A 1991 article. http://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/lifestyle/style/1991/12/01/brian-wilson-and-the-angry-vibrations/17783698-814c-40fc-9a29-f0cf3fb63df3/ 1998 article http://www.dallasobserver.com/music/brian-wilson-reconstructed-6401854 Title: Re: Two interviews from '87 & '98 w/ B.W. The interviewer asked a lot of things i'd ask Brian-like what about "this song" and "that song", etc, etc. But though Brian can recall the songs-ultimately we lean very little. Every answer is basically saying next to nothing. So-I think that is why interviewing him is so hard-it is very hard to get him to really tell a story-though I have occasionally seen interviewers pry long answers out of him. I have lots of interviews from 1966-73 where he is very verbose-but he's younger than that now.
