Dave marks told me that when they played the famous surf ballroom in Iowa where buddy played his last show that they were all aware of the significance. Funny though it was only four years since buddy's death

I'm sure Buddy would be proud to hear the results of all the kids he helped inspire to write and play music that is timeless. The photos of that AZ gig look as meat-and-potatoes as a venue could be at that time.
