Anyway, yes - great video. When it first popped up dozens of people gleefully schmeared it onto my Facebook page. One or two even thought it was real. You know, with the still existing myth of the Beach Boys never having played a single instrument on their records, and being frauds in generel. Like Milli Vanilli, or something.

A lot of Beach Boys videos are blocked on mobile devices. Like my IPad. :/

First time I saw it, thought it was about as funny as a dose of leprosy. My opinion remains unchanged.

I love it. It's the hand slapping and unplugged guitars that do it for me. I don't think I have laughed so hard since the first time I saw this. I couldn't even breathe.

I remember in the original video people kept calling Dennis "the clap guy" and on tumblr someone made a gif of it and the caption read "I will clap the sh*t out of you"  :lol

I love this video.  It's one of the funniest things I've seen, though it has lost some of its humor since the first time I watched it.

I think it's funny not as a diss at the Beach Boys but just as a commentary on the phenomenon of lip syncing in general.

This is the first time I've seen this, laughed my ass off.

I still fail to see the humour in this. I'll take the footage of Carl and Dennis cracking up at Brian's cough during "I'm Bugged At My Ol' Man" over this rubbish any day.

It's very well made. They got everything synched very well. The cream is when Dennis starts slapping his ass during the outro! the twangy unplugged guitars are real funny too.

What is so funny about that? It's sweet, sure. But funny?

Some people need to quit being so sensitive about sh*t. Yes, they changed it. They didn't replace it forever. Geez What's wrong with you?

Sure, my VHS/DVD copies of their Red Skelton Show appearance still survive, as it does on YouTube, and they're far more entertaining.

The only bit that really makes me laugh is when it cuts back to Carl in his car at the end, with the noisy engine. Otherwise... i don't quite get why it's considered so earth-shatteringly hilarious??

This is just as bad as I remembered. I like weird guitar, the rest is borderline boring.
