Title: Modern Surf Instrumental Group recommendations Post by: Cyncie on June 24, 2014, 09:14:49 AM Hey all.
I love the 60's surf bands and 60's instrumentals in general, and miss the days when a song without words could crack the top 10. I like Dick Dale and the Ventures and all of the classic groups, but have yet to delve into any modern surf bands. I'm only interested in instrumental groups, and wondered if you folks can point me to some. Thanks! Really liking the Aqua Velvets and Los Straitjackets even though the Lucha Libra masks are a bit gimmicky. Thanks everyone. Going to check out Christmas/holiday surf music as well. My playlist tends towards doo-wop right now.
