Title: New Rough Demo: Tracing Patterns Post by: the captain on June 14, 2014, 12:54:58 PM Hey all. First time in a few months I wrote and scratch-demo'd a new song, "Tracing Patterns." The performance is pretty rough. Such is life. Countryish, maybe eventually bluegrass, sort of thing. For now it's just a bass, an acoustic guitar (on two tracks and panned hard both ways, with reverb on one, so it might sound like two), a lead voice and an occasional harmony voice.

Is this a side project? It seems like you are in a band based on some of the comments I've read. You sound like a seasoned vet from your demos. Lots of diversity Title: Re: New Rough Demo: Tracing Patterns Post by: the captain on June 14, 2014, 08:11:26 PM Thanks for listening and your comments / question. No, I'm not in a band, I just write and record things for my amusement, mostly. A lot of the recordings are pretty rough, just me. Occasionally I get somebody to do some drumming or a bit more (such as keyboardists beyond my rudimentary ability there) just to get things I am more happy with, but that's as far as it ever goes, unless you count sharing with friends and posting here.
