Hello. Soooo....in late February I decided to set myself the task of writing and recording 10 football related song to be completed before the start of the World Cup (June 12th) .

That didnt quite work out  ??? but I hope to have the album (Random Football Musings set to Music) completed by August 16th. I decided to upload songs as I record them.

re: the download option - You just need to type in "0" to get it for free.

Thanks

Hey, this is pretty good! Beautiful music. Never been that into football, but the songs really touch me anyway. Especially "Don't Read the Chatboxes".

Thanks for sharing that.  I liked Bouncebackability, in particular the drums/drum fills.  What set-up did you use for recording/instruments?

Thanks guys.  Appreciate the comments. The references are probably pretty obscure even for football fans   ;D

@empire of love - I use Mixcraft with an Mbox 2. Trying to improve my home recording skills as I go along. Making lots of little breakthroughs.

Got another one done. Decided to just upload as I record rather than wait for an albums worth.

This one is all about the travails of collecting Panini football stickers back in 1987 - http://mybrotherwoody.bandcamp.com/track/panini-sticker-album-blues-1987

MBW: Tackling all the big world issues one at a time  ;D

Football Song No 5 - "Literally" - Sort of a funk/disco ode to the misuse of the word "literally" in football punditry/commentary e.g "He has literally played out of his skin today". Have a listen here - http://mybrotherwoody.bandcamp.com/track/literally

Note: I'm pronouncing literally in a sort of American way rather than the UK way - Its a hard word to get to fit properly when singing.

Football Song No 7 - Stranded on Saturday - http://mybrotherwoody.bandcamp.com/track/stranded-on-saturday

You guys might like this one, its very poppy (least I think it is) and probably my fav so far from this album.
