Title: Favourite Bob Marley album?
Post by: Mithras on May 08, 2006, 06:47:30 AM
I only included his studio albums he released during his years with Island. So no early stuff or live releases, compilations like "Legend" etc. but the 1983 released "Confrontation".

I prefer "Catch A Fire" and "Exodus".

Bob's material recorded during his tenure at Island is amazingly consistent. I picked Burnin' and Exodus.

Serge Gainsbourg did better reggae.  :) ;D ::) :P >:D :afro :3d :angel: :lol :hat ;)

Out of those, I voted '...Fire'.

Agree that it's hard to chose because the records are so consistent, however I chose "Rastaman Vibration". Before Island I really like stuff like "Soul Rebel" "Rainbow Country" "Hypocrites".

"Exodus"  and  "Kaya".

I like also "One Love at Studio One". A collection of 1964-1966 material.
