Title: Idea for Capitol Records Post by: joshferrell on April 15, 2014, 07:18:20 PM I think That the votes on here for the Beach Boys "Album Survivor" songs make a great idea for a cd release. I remember a couple years ago Sony released an Elvis fan favorites cd that pretty much sucked because the songs that were voted for came from a list of about 50 songs that fans had to choose from, so there was no chance of any rarities or real "Fan Favorites" just fan voted hits from a preset list that only featured hits (That's why the cd had two versions of Suspicious minds a live one and the studio one). so how about a 2 cd set of Beach Boys "Fan Favorites" based on our votes on here, one song per album and one single per decade and maybe one unreleased song per decade that way we get not only the hits but our favorites from each album,,,, now THIS is how a fan favorite cd should be..please consider this idea, thanks...
