http://marvel.com/comics/issue/46870/hawkeye_2012_16 It came out two weeks ago (January 22nd) and features more references than you can shake a surfboard at. I'm a huge comics fan and have been reading regularly since 1979 (the same year I bought the Preiss book...coincidence?) but I haven't been able to STAND most of Marvel's output for a couple of years now. Hawkeye is the exception. It's not only their best book but the best book coming out of the entire industry right now! And this issue was a great read, as usual, but not at all what I ever imagined to expect from Mr Fraction and company. Edit: just read it. Great stuff and beautifully drawn. The references were spot on and clearly created by a fan. Love the bit where he's identifying the sections by the grooves on the acetates!
