Title: The Wives Post by: retrokid67 on December 26, 2013, 10:43:36 PM Obviously there was a lot of drama with the guys throughout the 60s and 70s. how did the wives cope with all the drugs, alcohol, cheating and egos while all this was happening? :-\ I saw in the "American Band" movie how Marylin was dealing with Brian, but they didn't talk about Annie, Carol, Barbara, Karen, Lynda, Mike love's wives-which I heard he beat one of them. did he beat both of them? I also saw somewhere, I don't remember where, that at a drunken state Denny would beat his wife too, is that true? and if so which one? I know he and Karen didn't get along but were there physical fights? in the movie they had some girl named Deborah, was she a fictional character representing all of his women or was she real too? did Marylin and Diane's relationship change after Brian cheated with her etc.?

He remained close to Marylin years after she separated with Brian. This was on Bill Hinche's home videos about Carl Wilson. Well worth checking out if it's still available.

There was already two books written about Dennis, I am not sure much was added. Maybe a few stories about specific instances. Carl's was great because there hasn't been much written 1974 was also great!
