Interesting that David gets lead billing, while Al is "just" an All Star...

Al only appears at some shows so he must not be at this one.

Sounds pretty good, maybe a little too slick though.  I recognize Matt Jardine and Gary Griffin in there.

What is interesting is that Al and David are now billing themselves as Beach Boy AL JARDINE/DAVID MARKS. I think that's new.

I saw the just David Marks version of the Allstars right before the reunion tour kicked off last year. They did a great job. David didn't sing much, but it was awesome seeing a lot of the guys who used to tour with the band, especially Matt Jardine. His is my favorite of all of the non-Brian falsettos out there, especially of the later live incarnations. I think it would have been amazing if he was around for the reunion tour. Those songs would have sounded amaaaazing. But I digress. Go see them if you have a chance. Nice and more intimate.

When you book the surf city all stars, you can either book them on their own, or with David, or Al, or Dean, or any combination of the 3. Just depends on their availability and how much you are willing to pay.

Are they all former touring band members apart from the drummer?

It sounds good but I agree with what some others have said it's a bit too polished and shimmery.
Like a Brian Wilson solo album  :p
