Title: Jonathan Wilson - Dennis Wilson soundalike Post by: buddhahat on November 13, 2013, 06:20:52 AM Just listening to the first track from his new album 'Fanfare' and the Dennis comparisons are unavoidable. It's almost like a tribute. In fact, at the 5.50 mark if I didn't know better I'd think that mournful wail was Dennis himself!

Just not sure if I can get past the pastiche elements. Lovely to think Dennis' music is having an influence now. Must be in part due to the rerelease of POB a few years back and the associated publicity that received. |
