Title: Ebb & Flow, new song by SSD Post by: kwan_dk on November 12, 2013, 02:09:34 AM Thought I'd share this new song that me and the three other Surf School Dropouts have been working on lately; Ebb & Flow.
It's our attempt at a ballad with a lot of different layers and some interesting sound effects. I really dig the vocal arrangement our group's resident Brian Wilson came up with for the wordless chorus. He based it on voices all doing their own thing instead of just going for a more regular block harmony approach. Take a listen. Has a Dennis Wilson (and Carl too) feel, at least for me. I can't wait to listen on a proper set of speakers (as opposed to my phone).
