Title: Noel Harrison has died Post by: rn57 on October 22, 2013, 01:52:02 AM Just learned from an unexpected source (the Facebook page of singer Mary Lou Lord, who heard it from his son) that Noel Harrison (whose dad was Sir Rex) died yesterday, in his eighties. He's best known for the records he made in the Sixties - he toured with the BBs for a spell in '66 - and for co-starring with Stefanie Powers in The Girl From UNCLE, but his career stretched far beyond those achievements and into many unusual areas. RIP.

RIP Title: Re: Noel Harrison has died Post by: rn57 on October 23, 2013, 10:00:56 PM Noel Harrison - the man in The Girl From Uncle. RIP The Girl From UNCLE is pretty scare on YouTube - this seems to be the only full episode up, evidently taken from a videotape before the series came out on DVD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7s1UmW0ti6o With guest stars Pernell Roberts aka Adam Cartwright and Wally Cox - hard to beat that for a one-two punch. He's not the only British Invader to venture into the adult field. In 2011, Ian Whitcomb of "You Turn Me On" fame played small roles - clothed - in several hardcore flicks. |
