After all, it's a new book, maybe very important, and I mistakenly thought that this thread referred to the LPs with TSS on them, which have been discussed already. Perhaps others did this too.

Myth, dream, fantasy? In my experience the early 60's S. Cal scene was no dream - Brian and BB's music was instrumental as a catalyst to exaggerate the scene and propel it into the national/world consciousness I guess Luiz was not there -- ? :p Now, I must go and clean my room. I've been wanting to get some of these. I believe the writers vary throughout the books, I've only read the Pet Sounds book, which I remember enjoying a lot. They seem to pick out really good albums I'd like to read about, I just never see any of them in bookstores.
