Title: Re: Walkin' Post by: humanoidboogie on August 15, 2013, 09:39:29 AM Does this song sound just as muffled and bad on every boot available? I think I've only heard it on Get The Boot and that's pretty much free from any high-end whatsoever.

I guess your avatar picture adequately anticipates the reaction of the first mod who stumbles upon this. :-DTitle: Re: Walkin' Post by: Jason on August 15, 2013, 10:38:14 AM Banned for seven days. 3) Talking about bootlegs is fine. Posting messages asking for bootlegs or offering bootlegs is not fine. That's what private messages and emails are for. The same of course applies to official recordings. http://smileysmile.net/board/index.php/topic,122.0.html Title: Re: Walkin' Post by: Wrightfan on August 15, 2013, 12:34:19 PM Does this song sound just as muffled and bad on every boot available? Also doesn't help that Brian constantly complains about "not wanting to sing it." :lol Doubt it'll ever get an official release. Also this song is as unlikely to see release as Battle Hymn or A/C's Hey Little Tomboy so slightly hardcore to tackle him for his mistep. :deadhorse Title: Re: Walkin' Post by: smile-holland on August 15, 2013, 01:38:00 PM But of course. We have specifically warned about this before. And seeing his posts this was not exactly his first request. Title: Re: Walkin' Post by: Jason on August 15, 2013, 03:44:59 PM But of course. Title: Re: Walkin' Post by: bringahorseinhere? on August 15, 2013, 04:19:06 PM I was just looking at the artwork for 'get the boot'.........
thinking about the songs 'beginning of the end' and 'thank him', the early usher/norberg demo's.... are they the property of Capitol/EMI? or does Norberg or some other party own them?.......... they did use the little deuce coupe demo on 'hawthorne'... a couple of nice tunes would have been great for MIC that's all....... RickB Title: Re: Walkin' Post by: Jason on August 15, 2013, 04:33:45 PM The Beginning of the End is presumably owned by Capitol. Thank Him is owned by Brian; he has had the acetate for several years now.
Title: Re: Walkin' Post by: bringahorseinhere? on August 15, 2013, 04:43:52 PM ahhh thankyou...... I wonder what else Brian has in his possession that way?....
I would have not thought of Brian being much of a collector of his own works in that way....and that it was only us who took that much of an interest in his unpublished material... Cheers, RickB Title: Re: Walkin' Post by: Shady on August 15, 2013, 04:53:23 PM :lol

And his copy happens to be exactly one generation worse than mine. *cough* Title: Re: Walkin' Post by: Bill M on August 16, 2013, 08:02:32 AM The Beginning of the End is presumably owned by Capitol.
